Roots of Life is a diverse, inclusive, accepting, and welcoming safe space for everyone. Many churches say they’re welcoming to all, but, when it comes down to it, they exclude certain people from leading or receiving communion. At Roots, when we say, “everyone’s welcome,” we really mean it.

One of our favorite traditions at Roots of Life is inviting our community to compile a devotional book for Advent.
It has been customary for us to take time, especially at the dinner table, to read the daily devotions written by members of Roots of Life during Advent. Perhaps you and your family will take part in the “Faith Five” model. It is a
wonderful tradition and time to intentionally slow down and savor the season in conversation and care. Here is how you do it:
This season we will be using the theme: Heaven & Nature Sing, Joy to the World.
Advent Week 1 – Prepare Him Room: Hopeful Joy
Advent Week 2 – Repeat the Sounding Joy: Loving Joy
Advent Week 3 – Make the Blessing Known: Unabashed Joy
Advent Week 4 – Make the Nations Prove: Peaceful Joy
